More Freakazoid Rabbits

Not one to be trumped by Queen Ruby’s simple image of a mutant rabbit and his (hopefully) dwarf handler, the Other Brother Gowda discovered a whole page of hareus whatthefuckisthatus, more commonly known as the Angora Rabbit.

Resembling something akin to the love child of Cousin It from the Addam’s Family and Dennis the Menace’s dog, these tick farms have apparently spawned an entire Best in Show subculture. I’d be curious to know exactly what are the events at these competitions. Eat the Carrot, Then Crap It Out? The 100 Yard Try-And-Not-Hump-Your-Water-Bottle? What the hell do trophy rabbits do besides make for good eatin’?! Evident from these pictures in which all the rabbits could just as easily be dead and rigor’d for all hippedy hoppin’ they’re doing…not much.

In any case, I think OBG isn’t far off in his prediction that:

…a “freakiest bunny picture” competition is brewing…

But then again I thought the whole Win a Year of Free Bacon contest was funny too. Shows how much I know.
